Shaw Academy mis-selling & not giving a refund

I signed up for a 4 week free trial on Shaw Academy which on the final day, i cancelled. They then charged me and i eventually got a refund. However, when trying to cancel, there was an offer that said 'lifetime membership £49'. I clicked on the link to establish what the T&Cs were (as no information by the link button), if 'lifetime' meant lifetime and what was included and how i could pay etc. I clicked on the link and without my knowledge, as it asked for no further information re payment, clarification on how i wanted to pay or showing confirmation regarding what i was supposedly purchasing, it then signed me up for 'lifetime' membership. I got no email confirmation nor a webpage confirming what i had just bought. It wasn't until i checked my bank account there was a charge for it.
I have spoken to various people but none with authority at Shaw Academy and they just keep telling me that they dont give refunds and wont actually listen to what i am saying.
Legally what rights do i have or what can i do? I thought that you had 14 days to cancel anything bought online but i'm not sure if that includes courses / non-physical goods.
Any help of what steps i can take would be gratefully received.
Thanks,
Claire

I would take it that as you had a 4 week free trial & then clicked on the "Lifetime" membership link that you already were well passed the 14 day cooling off period (which does not cover everything online)Life in the slow lane0
