whenever any of you get treatment for wet rot, woodworm etc i would say ask for a boron based insecticide/fungicide rather than permethrin based.
look it up on jeff howell's site.
by the way dry rot involves cutting back beyond area of decay and burning of wood.
better to sort the problem that caused it ASAP i.e usually poor ventilation and/or water ingress etc

I'd have expected some sort of certificate, with a pretty little stamp on it. To go in the house file for when the house is sold - for the HIP or if it's raised as an issue.0
