Cat Insurance - Recommendations? Thoughts on Co-Op pet insurance?

Hi - I've adopted 2 cats and now need to sort insurance for them (I've considered self-insuring but as they're 2-4 years old I think it's too much of a risk).
I've insured cars/houses/holidays etc for years, but pet insurance is far more complicated (or at least seems to be!) and I don't have any reference for some of the insurers. Equally I get the impression that you can't really move each year.
I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations of good companies and also any you'd suggest to avoid? I've seen some companies quotes seem to go up a lot each year. A friend has recommended dental cover and the Co-Op option looks to be appropriate (they'll be indoor cats) but I can't find any reviews of them as an insurer.
Thank you in advance

Quotes always go up with age of pets due to increased risk - we have one with Animal Friends (who don't do dental) and one on Pet Plan (second cat). You'll probably find Pet Plan are a bit more expensive but tend to cover a lot more but yes, once insured and the cat is over a certain age, changing policies is difficult.1

I bought M&S for my cars. So far policy went up twice, but not by much. However, I expect next year to go up, due to claim. When choosing breed while doing quote, think about it carefully. I noticed that choosing particular breed may be twice as expensive as choosing just domestic shorthair/longhair, etc. None of my cats have any breed paper work, one is supposedly Russian Blue, but its passport says domestic, so I insured it as domestic shorthair.

Pet Plan are the best but not the cheapest.
As the cats age it will go from 100 to 80% cover with an increased excess.
However they do not rise excessively year on year and for my late cat they paid out the £3k claim just as quick and quibble free as the £30 ones.0
