After years of 4x4 (mainly for towing horses) I have had a Skoda Superb for two years.  Since then I have added a Fabia for my daughter and a Kamiq for her indoors.  Great cars, great value for money and not stuck in the Suez Canal.
I run a comedy club, I'm usually pretty quick on the uptake.
But this has gone over my head....
(yes I'm aware of the Ever Given stuck in the canal)

Eddie Stobbart are looking for 500 self drive HGV drivers with sand tracks for immediate start.  This ship will probably have to be unloaded at least partially.

Joking aside this ship is going nowhere fast and the cost is apparently $400m an hour that the canal is closed.
Suez to Amsterdam at 12 knots is just over 13 days via the Suez, or 41 days via the Cape.

The Asia to Europe supply chain was already stretched before the canal was blocked, so do not underestimate the knock on effects this will have on worldwide logistics.

My 'proper job' is freight, has been for 37 years, so i'm fully aware of the above.
I just still don't see why it's relevant to this thread.
