POPLA back up and running from 22 March 2021

As outlined on the BPA website, POPLA has awakened from its COVID slumber and will be writing each day to up to 500 appellants who have been caught up in the suspension, to ask if they wish to submit anything further to their appeal. Those receiving such an invite should add any further points or evidence, especially if the original appeal was of a skeleton nature. Particular note should be made of the deadline for doing so.

Thanks .... maybe they will have reflected during their time off that they have been seen as supporting parking scammers ..... or will pigs still fly ??

I suspect that if they are "contacting 500 people" per day , and the time that popla not been available , there must be one %^&* of a backlog , and I expect we will see a simular lack of care , to what happened a WHopla 
the ombudsman service in general has been at standstill for quite a while with regard other matters as well

It's been all but 4 months of suspended animation - so there must be one heavy pile to deal with. I wonder just how much they'll be able to get through before MHCLG pulls the Greg Knight plug on them .... or perhaps they'll be offered a residual contract to complete the work?

they have signed a contact with the BPA , and when the bpa are no longer a ATA for private parking what then , ombudsman services are going to be heavily penalised , hope they sue the BPA
