Take responsibility for the presentation, the price etc and your market is the sort of person that uses the internet at all, then there aren't really any cons, especially when you consider the price you're paying! It doesn't get in the local paper but we've not needed it when we've used them, besides, you can always take out your own ads and it will still be cheaper than a regular agent.
If you're the sort of person that has to be babysat or needs someone to blame, they won't help you!Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Another vote for them from me. I sold with them and I think they are fantastic.
the cons are you have to do your own viewings, if thats the sort of thing you can manage then thats great, to be honest, you know about YOUR property much better than some EA, you know the schools/facilities/shops/ bus routes etc - an ea might not.
You can answer all the questions buyers have - when was the conservatory built? What are the neighbours like? why are you moving?
the photos are generally superb as well.
Would not hesitate to recommend. Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Does anyone know if I could go with housenetwork AND a local agent?
Would it be a standard dual-agency agreement?0 -
Yes you can. But I'd give House Network a chance really. Kind of defeats the object of what you're trying to do. You can theoretically set a lower asking price if you use HN because it's so cheap.
And the high street agent usually charges more for dual agency contracts!Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Housenetwork sold my flat for me and got the full asking price. Saved me around a grand, compared to using the cheapest local agent I could find. Fantastic pics, videos & floorplans. Everyone who veiwed said that it was like having their 2nd veiwing, so you don't get anyone who doesn't like your place viewing & wasting your time. I completed end of Nov!0
