Just noticing (tweets, press) that Nominet have had an EGM, voting out 5 of 11 directors including the CEO and Chairman.    Possibly the good guys won, who knows, perhaps we'll see cheaper prices for our domain names

Cost prices are on the website:

https://registrars.nominet.uk/uk-namespace/managing-account/payments/fee-schedule/ - if your hosting company is a member it only costs them £3.90 + VAT per domain.  Everything else is for the hosting, the features, the bells and whistles, the business costs and their need to make a profit.

Ah, now a more full report, although it reads more like a TV drama.
