Hello
I hope that someone could advise about the above.
Applied for Universal Credit Jan 2019-First Payment March 2019.
I did not apply for PIP initially, as I was new to claiming Benefits and was not told about it.
I have Myasthenia Gravis . Applied for LCW. Declined. Won Appeal for 12 months. Awarded in my favour by Tribunal by letter due to Covid.
Went on a LCWRAG (Seetec Pluss) from March 2020 (last year)
It was in June that my case officer advised me to apply for PIP.
I received backpay from June -Sept . I was awarded £59.70 PW Daily Living Allowance. from Sept 2020
I will be contacted in Sept 2023 or thereafter, to see if my needs have changed.
Having said that, the award is from 10 June 2020-17 Sept 2024.
Please could somebody explain this?
Thanks in advance

PIP reviews normally take place about 6 months before the award is due to end. You will be sent the review forms to fill in and return with all your information and evidence to support your claim. This is a sample of the form... https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/756542/ar1-pip-award-review-how-your-disability-affects-you.pdfYou should treat it as a new claim and put as much information as possible about how your conditions affect you, rather than just put "no change"You may also have an extension of your current award because of the pandemic, they are extending some awards BUT this doesn't mean you won't still receive the review forms 6 months before your current award ends.
