Hello again .
I hope that somebody can help with the above.
I was browsing this section today, and noticed a couple of posts about LCW/LCWRA
This made me check my decision from the First Tier Tribunal Letter I received.
I'll try to be as brief as possible (which is almost impossible anything DWP related)
I have a small question about PIP coming soon in another thread.
My circumstances: Applied for universal credit Jan 2019- first payment March 2019 till present.
Went for LCW Assessment March 2019( I have Myasthenia Gravis)
Appealed / rejected etc until I was due to attend a Tribunal last year.
Due to Covid, I received Letter Dated 14/05/20 Awarding me LCW , With Assessment 12 Months From The Date of This Decision.
I understand that I am not entitled to any payment for this , due to date I first applied for UC.I stand to be corrected of course.
I am a little bit confused though, due to the fact that I have been on a work related group LCWRA since March 2020
The company I was complying with(Seetec Pluss) were unable to find me a position in their time frame, and as the contract
ended last month. I was just told that my job coach will deal with everything now. No problem . I am on the extremely vulnerable category and
it was obvious that nothing could really happen.
My question though, is although I've complied and attended my LCWRA Group by person and months on the telephone, does the wording
on my LCW Award matter?
I assume that I may expect contact either in my UC Journal or by Letter to attend another Assessment. Normally this would be May, but. maybe later due to UC /DWP being Swamped?
Please advise, and thanks for looking in advance

It's the LCW group you are in and not the LCWRA group. You are correct that there's no extra money for those in this group if their claim started after April 2017.There's not really any timescales for the next review and the time they give you is just a guide, your LCW will continue until a decision's been made on your next review. There's huge backlogs for work capability assessments so you may not be contacted anytime soon. You will recieve a message on your journal once they have referred you for your review and you will then receive the UC50 form in the post.1

Thanks very much poppy .So basicallly starting all over from scratch . I assume that the multitude of documents sent before don't matter , and it's a new claim all over again. Then repeat the process again ..
Something to look forward to ( not ) ..0 -
Yes, you should always treat it as a first assessment. I've been claiming ESA in the Support Group (same as LCWRA for UC) since 2012/13 and each review is no different to the previous.I agree, it's always something to look forward to1

I was just wondering what happens if in my case , the LCW group could not find anything?
Obviously, I report to job coach as and when etc. I was wondering if they put me on another support group similar to seetec pluss ? No problem if they do .
I may be over thinking and obviously will comply , but don't like nasty surprises .Thanks0 -

The situation before Covid , was that I was liaising with both the LCW group and the work coach . The contract with them was going to end in February anyway regardless.
Once Covid happened the appointments were done to check on my well being due to being on the vulnerable category . The calls were inconsistent in the end, and I got transferred to a different coach at the work support group . The work support group have targets to get people back into employment etc but even with Covid, they could not continue after their February deadline .
Please excuse the rambling , but it may be of use to someone who reads this 😼
