How long does it take to get a management pack?

We are FTB nearing to exchange on a 2 bed flat but our vendors have only just requested the arrangements or management pack from the landlord, represented by HomeGround. Why this hadn't been requested prior is beyond me, we had our offer accepted in December!
We are due to exchange at the end of the month, however it seems this might be a pipedream now. Does anyone have and experience with how long this might take (other than the proverbial piece of string!!).

Usually around 10 working days from receipt of payment, but this can be quicker or slower depending on the management company and whether they send the pack via post or email. Once your solicitor receives the pack, he will need to review it and then likely raise enquiries on the information contained therein. I don't want to get your expectations up, but I doubt you will be exchanging at the end of the month.0

It really depends on the management company. Also, your solicitor will probably have enquires to raise from the pack as well, so then you need to factor in response time for them. I’m afraid that exchanging at the end of the month is unlikely.0

As above, time can vary.
You solicitor will then/should then be going through it all with a fin le tooth comb and raising enquiries, which may take longer. I know from when I sold my flat there were enquiries such as, have the recommendations in the recent fire safety report been completed, are any works on the block outstanding, what costs are associated. I very much doubt you will be moving by the end of the month, sorry. You will also want to go through it all yourself to check you're happy with all the clauses in the lease, if you haven't seen it already.0 -
Thanks for the guidance both. We have already had the lease pack with the lease, fire reports and management account from the management company and had all enquiries answered. Not sure how the management pack from the landlord is different to the one from the management company?0

It usually is done towards the end or the figures and future works plans won't be up to date.
Trouble is, it's also often a slow process.2024 wins: *must start comping again!*0 -
Update - Management pack recieved and reviewed, ordered on 18th March and recieved on 24th March. Turns out we only needed copies of the buildings insurance, everything else had been previously provided, so no follow up enquiries.
We are proceeding to exchange as we speak.0
