Bird in the Bath Cavity.

I have occasionally had a bird stuck in the bath cavity. I manage to get it out by opening the bath panel and the bathroom window. No idea how it gets in. There does not appear to be any nesting in the cavity wall although I do hear noises just before it finds it's way into the bathroom.  It happened several years ago and that time it was a starling. Did not see the bird yesterday as I shut the door and let it fly away.

If birds get in then there is an opening to outside.
Take the panel off and seal any gaps. Go outside and check and seal as required.

Thanks. I probably have not noticed any opening as the outside wall is only accessible from my neighbour's property. Will have to take a look.

Is it a bird bath you have or one designed for humans?

Our cat used to like to use the bird bath.

A man walked into a car showroom.
He said to the salesman, “My wife would like to talk to you about the Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
Salesman said, “We haven't got a Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
The man replied, “You have now mate".
