  • thank you so much @Coupon-mad thats a great point  have added, now ready to send
  • Hi
    Very quick update and question
So court date was set for next Thursday 19th,  I sent my bundle of to court and Civil Enforcement in time and ready for the hearing.  Today we received a letter saying the claim has been struck out as there was a non payment of the hearing fee.
Does this mean its completely over?
Can I still claim for my time spent on this ?
    thank you

If the letter was from the court, then yes, it's over. You might be able to claim costs by contacting the court as the defendant pulled out with only a week to go, but don't hold your breath.

A rather predictable and typical CEL move. Try to trip the motorist up into missing a court procedure/deadline to give them the opportunity to apply for a judgment in default - one of the main elements of their business model. You beat them at their game, well done! 👍🙂

As for the MP I did contact the Lib Dem MP who was not interested as there was no photo opportunity in it for him.

Tell him to drive into any ParkingEye managed car park and overstay his allotted time - he'll be having his photo opportunity, one of himself and his car within a few days! 😄
