upload files to google drive on phone. l
Log in on PC to google drive with ur google account and download.
Then delete in Drive1 -

Well the options re settings don't appear on my phone when i swipe down and I don' t understand the suggestion about Drive as I've never used it

New cable did the trick, i'm guessing the other cable was charging only
