TERMS AND CONDITIONS for “TOM AND JERRY MAGIC WEEKEND BREAKFAST PROMOTION” (the “Competition”).

 

These terms should be read with our general competition terms at: http://www.bauerlegal.co.uk/radio-competition-terms.html which also apply to this Competition.

 

1.COMPETITION MECHANIC AND HOW TO WIN.

In order to be eligible to win, entrants must go online to the Tom and Jerry competition page at www.magicradio.co.uk / https://planetradio.co.uk/magic/ and tell us the following details in the competition form:

 

1. Their full name and contact details
2. Their story of a time when their child / children got up to mischief

 All entries will be judged by the Magic Radio production team, the production manager, and an independent judge. Entries will be judged on how mischievous, funny, and sweet the entry is.

On Friday 26th March at 10:00am a shortlist of up to x10 semi-finalists will be drawn from all pre-registered entries using the judging criteria above.  

Being a semi-finalist does not mean you will be a winner or awarded the prize however, a selection of short-listed entries will be read during the weekend breakfast show on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th March between 06:00am-10:00am.  Having your story read on air does not mean you are a winner. Only one story on each show deemed to be the most compelling entry, will be announced as the winner and will win the prize.

There will be two winners in total – one on each day (Saturday 27th March and Sunday 28th March).

One entry per person.

Entries received before the Start Time or after the End Time will be invalid.

The winning person’s first name and hometown will be available upon request when the competition ends by emailing Win@bauermedia.co.uk.

4. ENTRY RESTRICTIONS

• Open to UK residents aged 18 or older.
• One entry per person.
• Our employees (and their family members) or employees of any company involved in the Competition, incl. the Prize Provider, must not enter.
• We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant or winner who does not comply with any of the eligibility criteria and/or is in breach of these Terms. We reserve the right to repeat the competition mechanic or any stage of it in order to draw a winner that fulfils all of the eligibility criteria and is in compliance with these Terms.

5. THE PRIZE           

There will be 2 winners of this competition; 1 winner from the breakfast show on Saturday 27th March and 1 winner from the breakfast show on Sunday 28th March. Each winner will receive part A and part B of the prize.

Part A:

Each winner will receive the following prize package for the ultimate family night in.

Part B is fulfilled by Warner Brothers (the “Prize Provider”). We are not responsible for any aspect of the Prize, including unsatisfactory quality or late delivery or a prize winner being unable to take up any aspect, or the entirety of the prize due to their own circumstances or restrictions.

All prizes are subject to availability. In the event that any of the products listed above are unavailable, alternative products of equal value will be provided; Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, there may be delays to deliveries of physical prizes; We will endeavour to get products delivered to winners as quickly as possible. All elements of the prize are subject to availability; Prize is non-refundable and non-transferable; No cash alternative is available; Prizes may need to be signed for on delivery and it is the recipient’s responsibility to ensure that all items are present, correct and undamaged; Recipient may need to provide ID on delivery; It is the responsibility of the winner or the winner’s parent/guardian to provide the correct delivery information to the prize provider; Items will be delivered to one address within mainland UK; Prizes will be delivered within 28 days of confirming delivery address with prize provider; The prize excludes anything not expressly listed above; The Prize Provider is Element London Ltd (www.element-london.com).

OTHER CONDITIONS

1.         DATA PROTECTION. Names, email addresses, and /or telephone numbers (which, for all SMS competitions, will be shared with our SMS provider,) will be collected and used to process entries. Winner’s details may be given to the prize provider to arrange delivery of the prize.  Your details may remain stored after the End Date but will not be used for marketing unless you have ticked an opt-in box on entry. 2.         INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND CONSENTS. By entering this Competition, you are consenting to our use of your entry both to publicise this Competition, our radio station or any other radio station which we own or control. This means that we may use all names, images, descriptions, photographs video footage, and other information, which you’ve submitted on entry, in any media, without paying you and without any time restriction. You also agree that we may film, record or photograph you in connection with the competition and /or the Prize (if you win!). We will own these films, recordings or photographs and we may use them publicly, including on the internet, for our radio broadcasts and/or for any promotional purposes. You will also have waived any moral rights or right to payment that you may have had.

3.         MISCELLANEOUS.

a.         Entries that don’t comply with these terms won’t be accepted and you may be disqualified if we think you’ve breached them.

b.         Entrants may not enter more than once.

c.         If there is a dispute about the operation of the Competition or correctness of any answers given, our decision is final and no discussion will be entered into on this subject.

d.         We are not responsible if you fail to get through when you call / text to enter, or if you lose signal during a call.

f.          You may be disqualified if you are incomprehensible, inaudible or if you appear to be driving, intoxicated or likely to offend listeners.

g.         Whilst on-air, you must not make inappropriate or offensive statements.

h.         As far as it is lawful to do so we exclude our liability for any losses suffered in connection with the Competition / the Prize.

 

i.          We may cancel / amend / end / suspend the Competition if we need to do so due to circumstances outside our control.
