Anyone still getting married in 2021?

I never updated the thread but if anyone reads this, we did get married! Had a lovely day, got married outside with 44 guests followed by dinner and a band. A very different wedding to the one we originally planned but it worked out perfectly 👌

Yeah, we've gone from Oct 2020, to April 21 to Oct 21 now.

I think at this stage we're going ahead no matter how we'd need to scale back really. It's quite a small wedding, 50 people in total.

How annoying to have to postpone twice, @ChilliBob! 

How are you finding the planning? I struggled to make decisions because everything was so uncertain, even things that were unaffected by the changes like table decs!

The planning hasn't been too bad tbh as we've not done too much! Actuslly been focusing on trying to move house, which has also turned into a disaster!

With about two months to go we still have a lot to do. All suppliers locked in which is the main thing. I still need a suit though and we still need to decide upon food!

My Niece gets married on Friday, after several previous aborted attempts.

My wedding was cancelled in 2021, it was all set and then a lockdown was announced! I was heartbroken, even more so with the fact we lost a lot of the money because our insurance wasn't covered by Covid ( definitely look into this!) We can't get dates for this year so we are looking at early 2023.

@Marie569 how frustrating! I think a lot of 2020 weddings postponed to 22 so there’s loads of people desperate to get married this year! Good luck with getting everything booked, it’ll be here before you know it x
