Hi all,
Would love to hear your recommendations for properly tested by your household washable paint please (i.e, scuff marks, fingerprints, ketchup, markers,etc.). There are so many on the market at different prices that it is just hard to know what is worth your money.
1) if money is not a consideration, what would you recommend

2) what do you feel is the best value for money, if different from above.
Thank you

We had our whole house decorated this time last year as part of a refurb. Our painter recommended Crown TRADE extreme scrubbable matt - which he had mixed to our chosen colours at a Kent Blaxail paint store. I can 100% say it's amazing, our dog scratched one of the walls multiple times with her claws - (we caught her on web cam trying to jump up to the window). We used a damp piece of kitchen roll, a tiny bit of Jif and you can't see it!! Other scuffs when we moved in were all easily wiped away.
The 1 room we used a normal crown paint we already had... not so good. Husband tried to wipe it last week after a water mark from bleeding the radiator, and the paint just started to come off on the cloth.
It's more expensive than paint you would buy from b+q, but probably still cheaper than brands like Farrow and Ball or Little Green,0 -
We had our house professionally redecorated a few years ago with Dulux Diamond Matt paint on all the walls.
We don't have children or pets so it hasn't really been put to the test but it has been easy to wipe off a few marks.A man walked into a car showroom.
He said to the salesman, “My wife would like to talk to you about the Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
Salesman said, “We haven't got a Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
The man replied, “You have now mate".0 -
Our decorator used Johnstone’s acrylic durable in our kitchen and have to say it looks good and wipes well0
