JPS Financial Invoice for work done

COMPINGMAD

Hello
I have had a bill from JPS asking for £190 for a PPI claim they looked into but I had received a refund years ago. I have received many phone calls from them asking what companies I had credit cards with. I've always said I'm not sure what I have claimed for previously. I was sent paperwork to sign and refused. I was told if I didn't sign I would be charged £150. I signed and then I had a bill for £190 as a claim had been attempted years ago.
Any advice welcome!

If they put in a complaint for you, then yes you owe them fees
If they put in a complaint and found that you had already complained they will often charge a time waster fee which they seem to be doing
Start by clarifying which it is, though it sounds like the latter.
