Free interactive Map help

Hello
I don't know if anyone can help as I am struggling to create a map with multiple pin pointed locations that is accessible by the public?
The purpose of the map will be for a post lockdown jumble trail, which was meant to have gone ahead last year.
I have tried google maps but it seems only those with a google account can access it. Someone mentioned what3words but I cannot figure how to use it for love nor money.
I'm not very techy when it comes to mapping and just need something simple that people can follow if they are provided with a link.
Does anyone have any suggestions please?

https://what3words.com - bash your post code into this and it'll give you the map of the area.  Click to refine properly and it'll tell you what the three codes are for your particular click point.

There is OpenStreetMap which you can create short links to with pointers, that may be of help to you?
OpenStreetMap is a global community project, created by the likes of you and me, we could edit and add to the map if we wish. It is "open data: you are free to use it for any purpose as long as you credit OpenStreetMap and its contributors". There are numerous articles about it, here is an introductory one and a search of the internet for 'openstreetmap create trail' or similar words may help you find what you need.
