Goods refunded, still not returned

Looking for some advice. 

Recently purchased some toys from a retailer.
Went to return but they gave me an invalid label.
Complained via Twitter and they processed the refund immediately, suggested they would get a courier out in the next two weeks but they couldn’t confirm a day due to Covid and delays etc.
Still no sign of a courier to collect two months on and no communication from the retailer.
At what point can I legally dispose of the goods without them chasing me for the money.
Any advice would be great.

We are living in strange times at the minute and we just have to be patient.  You could try contacting them again asking them to chase the courier up for you.  Are the items in the way (you don't give any idea of size).  Remember the onus is on you to look after them.
