Buying an Indesit washing machine

I've ordered this Indesit washer + dryer: Indesit BDE861483XWUKN 8Kg/6Kg 1400rpm for £325 from AO. Just wondering if anyone has direct experience with Indesit. Any better models to consider at around the £300-400 mark? I looked into machines a lot and it seemed bosch and miele are most recommended. However my specific dimensions were 595mm width and ~555mm depth so I only found brands like Indesit/Hotpoint etc.
Thanks.
Thanks.

My indesit was the worst machine I’ve ever had. Didn’t rinse the clothes properly no matter what I did, always had white/grey marks on dark clothes. Also didn’t take in the fabric conditioner, ever, although it disappeared! And took forever to do a wash, often 3 hours.
The dryer was fine.
I now have Samsung, really impressed, but they are more expensive0 -
Indesit, Hotpoint, Whirlpool, Ariston plus probably several other names are all the same company. The machine could be made anywhere. Most people who buy it will probably find it works just fine, much the same as any other machine in the price bracket.Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0

They are fine, not dirt cheap but not top quality. We have had a few and they last about 3 to 5 years with daily use. We buy the MyTime model as the 60m min wash cycle is ideal for our needs.0

I had to replace my 13 year old Indesit last year. No opinion on newer ones thoughMember #14 of SKI-ers club
