please forgive if this has come up before ..... i work for a supermarket as a delivery driver so have not had to have time off for any of the lockdowns which i am very grateful for by the way, but what is annoying me is during lockdown 1 and 2 is people from other professions came and worked as drivers because they were furloughed (fair enough) but in effect they were getting there payment for being furloughed and getting a wage for working as delivery drivers so being payed twice (fair enough again good luck to them) but us who had been driving the whole time are being punished as far as i can see because as i have had to on a couple of occasions i have had to self isolate but the time i have had off comes out of my sick pay from work, I am now in a situation i have had to have a operation which as me being off for up to 3 months and i dont have enough sick pay to cover this period ,it just seems very unfair that i loose this payment and the furloughed drivers have been payed double plus most have been there long enough to get sick pay from work as well .
just wondered if anyone is in agreement or had any other comments

Sometimes life isn't fair. That's just how things turn out. No guarantee that all those furloughed will have jobs to return to.4

Yes, not fair, but that's down to the clowns who made the rules unfortunately. It's been a bit of a lottery as to winners and losers re the support support schemes.0

The other people working on furlough from other companies bears little relation to your company sick pay policy as far as I can see?Whether they were furloughed and working, or just employed in the one driving job wouldn’t have any effect on your current circumstances- you seem to be conflating separate issues. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.2 -
On the bright side it seems like you've got a fairly generous sick pay policy already and you should receive ssp for any time thsts not covered by your company sick pay.1
