Direct Line Car Insurance

Hi all, I'm feeling totally conned by Direct Line Insurance and completely let down by the Ombudsman.
To cut a long story short my ex wife works for Direct Line and has done for a long time, so we insured our vehicles with them. After insuring with Direct Line for a few years my wife decided to join our policies and used my significant No Claims Discount when changing the policy. Following our split, we had to separate the policies and I was told by Direct Line that my ex wife would have to confirm that they were indeed my NCD, being the lovely person she is, she refused, despite her getting 50% discount on her policy and Direct Line being able to follow the trail of my NCD over the years. Direct Line refused to help me out or offer any reasonable solutions and the Ombudsman has refused to take it any further.
How is it right that she gets to drive around fraudulently using someone else's NCD? and to top it off she's a fraud investigator at Direct Line.

Who was the policy holder as that is who the NCB goes to?1

She was because she works for Direct Line so was entitled to staff discount. I had 10 years NCD before it became a joint policy and she had very little, I now have 0 NCD and she has it all in spite of me earning the majority of NCD. I realise there's very little I can do about it, just feels very unjust.0
