refund or credit note ??

hello, can anyone please advise? I purchase goods by part credit note (gifted to me by my son) and cash, on 18 Dec 25 the goods didn’t arrive - I’ve since been only offered a refund of another credit note and cash but I don’t see anything else I want to purchase - do I have to accept the credit note?

• 1 The trader only has to offer a refund by the same method you paid. So if you paid part cash and part credit note that is how the trader can refund you.

Why would you think you are entitled to anything else?

Yes - as you paid with a credit note, they're not obliged to offer you anything else as a refund.
