It's called sustainability. To keep a woodland sustained, a certain amount of cutting is needed, usually in the form of coppicing. Otherwise other wildlife would suffer.:rolleyes:

Which is why the woodland trust plants sustainably managed woodlands, where the chainsaw is the woodland's friend.:p

Oh lord!! Do people ever read the backs of xmas cards? I certainly don't. I don't throw away unused ones each year either so if they do have something on the back then tough!
