Statements

in Credit cards
Hi
My dad received a statement of some kind from Debenhams, showing purchases over the period march 2020 to march 2021.
This showed one purchase / payment, for just over £100, plus some kind of interest charge of a few pounds, but after this it said "repaid in full".
He has his own bank credit card - not debenhams - nor does he have a debenhams store card.
Any idea what purchase would trigger this kind of statement ?
Any advice would be helpful - tried several times to get through to Debenhams but no luck yet - no reply from their CS either.
kind regards
Concerned Son

Sounds like a debenhams store card bill, however as the period of time showing is from march 20 to march 21, sounds more like an annual statement. Debenhams card services are looked after by Newday so might be worth checking with them0

He should check his credit files, in case someone has opened one or more accounts in his name without his knowledge or consent:
