COVID 19 - Insurance if FOC adds counties on no fly list

Hello I wonder if someone can help, I can see many holiday companies are adding COVID cover to there holidays but...
If i book a holiday through say loveholidays and the FOC removes that country from the list meaning our insurance is invalid but like last year companies like RyanAir continue to fly will we lose that flight portion like we did last year?
or is there any cover that is out there that offers insurance if the FOC add your destination of travel on the no travel list ?
thanks

You would have to find and buy a policy that explicitly covers changing FCO advice including in relation to Covid-19. Most insurance companies will be excluding Covid-19 or pandemics (some already excluded pandemics anyway).
You might want to consider booking something through a proper tour operator like TUI/Jet2Holidays etc who have quite robust Covid-19 policies that would cover you in that eventuality.0 -
Yes, it makes sense to check a tour operators policy of what will happen if advice changes. If you book using an airline like Ryanair as many have discovered if the flight operates they don't refund. Spend the time now looking at company policies rather than hoping to make an insurance claim as that can be a gamble as well0
