Thank you everyone for your replies.
Just to clarify they were ordered by the company and directly dispatched to me.
I have asked to keep the items as the value isn't that high but they refused. Didn't expect differently to be honest.
Probably the courier to pick them up will be half of what they are worth.
Anyway it's not worth the hassle and certainly wont get into legal issues for keeping them.2 -

Yes the employee was initially the legal owner but when they claimed it on their expenses they effectively sold it to their employer.
Or, they were acting as the agent of their employer when buying it on their behalf.
Either way the item certainly belongs to the employer once they have paid for it.0
