Toll booth charges Port/spain
Hi Guys .I have today received a fine from EPC a British Collections Agency on behalf of Portamento de Portagens for failing to pay Toll Charges Leaving Portugal to Spain .After Brexit am I duty bound to Pay .its over £50 and instructions at the toll booth which was unmanned were confusing .

Brexit makes little difference. EPC are merely a debt collection agency and they can chase this debt as much as they like but unless it goes to court in the UK they have no powers to force you to pay.0

Please stop glorifying this by calling it a "fine" - It is most certainly not. And Brexit makes no difference whatsoever!
EPC are already well covered here - They buy-up tickets that overseas authorities can't or can't be bothered to enforce and simply try to scare payment out of people.
The advice in post four of the Newbies Sticky in the Parking Tickets subforum here applies to them completely.
