Deed of Grant

Can anyone tell me how quick (Covid timescales) and easy it is to get a Deed of Grant signed by the council, please? For context, it’s to cross a small stretch of council land to get to the driveway of a property we’re trying to buy. Neighbouring properties already benefit from easement, so we’re hoping our request will go through without a hitch.

It's going to mainly depend on the current workload and practices of "the council" in question, rather than something which is likely to have a meaningful average.
