Abbey 5% cashback - When to?

According to the leaflet I received today, it is until 31 March 2008.

1. 5% Cashback will be paid on purchases which are identified by Merchant Category Code 5411 and are applied to your Abbey credit card account between the date of account opening and 31st March 2008 or any later date which we notify to you in writing.

According to their website, it is until 31 July 2008.

I'm just confused, I'm not complaining. Its a good deal and the longer they do it for, the more chance you have of spending £1000 and getting the maximum £50 cashback.
The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life. :)

I believe the cashback period for existing cardholders has been extended to end of March (was originally to end of Jan). The cashback period for new customers is up to the end of July.
  • It looks like another case of "brand new customers only" then.
