Stamp duty holiday extension for second home buyers?

I’m currently buying a second house for my pregnant daughter to live in as she is out of work and can’t get a mortgage. The solicitors are trying to charge me stamp duty. Am I correct by saying that if the sale goes through before September I do not pay any stamp duty? One house is worth 120,000 and the other 157,000.…

First its an added 3% for a second home,so not sure why you've put "the added two"
Can you write out the exact part of their quote theyve put?
And are you buying one extra house or two? Because why have you quoted two prices? Or perhaps, is it a choice of two houses?
