It does surprise me how slow all this is these days, considering instant electronic transfer technology.
It sometimes is quick . A pension cash transfer I did from Aviva to Fidelity took less than 48 hours a couple of years ago.
Also a couple of other partial pension transfers in cash and a S&S ISA in specie took a couple of weeks . Maybe I was lucky !

I requested a transfer from Vanguard to iweb in Dec. I am still waiting........ and slowly loosing the will to live in the process. I chase them up every couple of weeks or so but constantly being told the same story. Vanguard says they are waiting on iweb....... iweb says they are waiting on Vanguard. The story goes on.-Keep your eyes to the sunshine and you would not see the shadows-

It took well over six months to transfer my holdings in to II a few years ago.happybagger said:I tried to transfer one isa in specie to iweb, only part of it was transferred. And most went through in a month, but one batch of units in the same transfer took over 3 months to show up.
The remaining part that they hadn't dealt with I later requested transfer to fidelity. Two months and counting. It has gone from the initial retail fund manager but not arrived on fidelity. This required a change of share class to 'clean' units.

Just an update....... Transfer of VLS 100 from the Vanguard Platform to iweb finally completed on the 20th April I was not even informed by iweb I just happen to be doing my regular check last night and noticed the transfer had finally happened. I started the process in Dec 2020. I initiated a cash transfer from CSD two weeks ago into iweb. Lets see how long that would take.-Keep your eyes to the sunshine and you would not see the shadows-
