my father has cancer...he is 95....he has his full capacity at moment.....our main concern is getting the solicitors off the will as executors due to the high charges....is there any other adjustments them may need to be made to the wills...thanks0

on the which website it states
Some examples of when you might use a codicil include:
- Appointing a new executor if, for example, a named executor has died
Deed of Renunciation
..removing themselves from the will0 -
As you have an appointment today, now is the time to ask all these questions, to the legal professional you are paying for.
It's great to go in with an idea of things so you aren't ripped off, but your appointment is today, ask them. If anything seems strange, make sure you ask them to clarify.Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....0 -
Estate is worth £850k, but you'd rather accept the advice of a bunch of doubtless well-meaning but unqualified strangers on an internet forum, over the advice given by your professionally qualified solicitor, who will be liable for the advice given if it proves to be bad?No free lunch, and no free laptop0
