Getting future loans after payment holiday.

Good afternoon, 
I appreciate everyones situations will vary, but in general has anyone been able to get a small loan after getting a payment holiday. We're planning to get married in the next 1-2 years and have taken a payment holiday on our mortgage and I'm now beginning to wonder will that effect our chances of getting a loan around 10k in a years time. Thus im curious if anyone has been able to get a loan post a payment holiday.

Have you cleared the arrears caused by the payment holiday?

As you are thinking of getting married in a year or two and spending approximately £10,000, the Money Saving solution would be to save £833/£416/£277 pcm over the next 12/24/36 months, rather than taking out a loan which is a debt and incurs interest.

Start saving the money now instead of having to pay interest on in later years.
