Problems with NatWest account switch

Switched to NatWest last November. Apparently old bank refused switch but I never received text from NatWest telling me this. Did receive text from NatWest in December thanking me for using their switching service. NW not paying switch bonus as old account not closed. Anybody else had this issue. NW switch team and complaints department appear useless. Thanks for any tips!

Why did your old bank refuse the switch?

Natwest said a card number I supplied didn't match but as I said I wasn't made aware of this and the old bank - TSB - didn't advise a switch was requested, if refusing it is a security measure.0

It's obviously unsatisfactory that Natwest didn't notify you in a timely manner of the problem - but didn't you notice the switch did not complete on the date you had requested it to complete? Looks to me as it's 15 All, so may be put it down to experience and check the expected progress next time you go for a switch offer?0
