house market in NI has had a mini boom due to covid people are spending extra money now to move house.

Why not compromise on size/area in order to buy something more in your price range instead of paying out rental money which will make saving for what you really want more difficult considering the price of rentals.

Please, by all means compromise on size and condition, but not on area! Worst house in best area gives scope for profit or a happy family home.

100% agree. Give me a pokey 1 bedroom flat on the Lisburn Road over a 4 bedroom detached house in Lurgan any day of the week.

Admittedly not all of lurgan is great, but nothing wrong with living somewhere close to the park, which is excellent on a nice day. Worth a big premium in my view.
