You can spreadbet it at around 299-300p at the moment with IG

    (am long from 303p)
Yep, looks like the price has steadied around the 300p mark.

    Down 28%... Deliver-poo more like!
Not a good look, considering they were bombarding their own customers with emails asking them to invest in their IPO.

Oh well. Is anyone up for convincing some Reddit bros that Wall Street is trying to oppress Deliveroo's army of bike-light-challenged millennials?

I understand the IPO is conditional so in theory it could still be cancelled and all trades reversed up until April 7th so you might yet have a lucky escape. However I think it unlikely.

Mr Sunak hailed Deliveroo as a "true British tech success story", saying: "We are looking at reforms to encourage even more high growth, dynamic businesses to list in the UK.

"So it's fantastic that Deliveroo has taken this decision to list on the London Stock Exchange."
    - Rishi Sunak, March 4th 2021

Not profitable 7 years on since foundation, during the middle of a pandemic where home-delivery has shot through the roof, a potentially unsustainable business model if gig-economy working rights are strengthened and chuck in some institutions publicly questioning the viability of the business and rejecting the IPO offer.

Main takeaway of this from me is that this sort of IPO will put off other "tech" firms entering the London market, which is a shame.

Yes possibly, although The Hut Group IPO last summer went pretty well and it still looks like Wise (TransferWise) is on the cards for a London IPO.
