Cheap Energy Club and incorrect Green Energy prices

Got email today from MSE saying about large savings from switching to Green Energy, checked out the rates on MSE quoted; no cashback offered (no issue) so no direct switch, just transfers to site.

Got quote from Green, prices WILDLY more expensive. What a waste of effort. Green showing as cheap prices yet their website shows tariff for Economy 7 as: day just over 18p per unit and night as just under 11p; daily charge 22p.  MSE was quoting 10p day rate and 8p night.

UPDATE - website for Green seem to have updated to the prices today (on MSE and Citizen Advice) so the Lamont rate is now live. It is a good deal.

    You could have deleted it yourself but too late now, as someone's gone and added to  it :)

    Looks like CEC are ahead  of the curve here, so useful info. No need to delete anyway, as the thead title is not technically  incorrect!
