Hi
I payed money into a pay in machine in Halifax but straight away realised the it did not up correctly and was £500 short,
I told Halifax about this and said they check the machine and it was right but I know it wasn't is there anything I can do?

If Halifax is your own bank (rather than just the one operating the machine) then it's going to be tricky if it's your word against theirs with such a significant discrepancy, but if they've checked the machine logs and audit trails and stick to their guns then all you've really got left is their complaints process. How would you go about convincing them of your story, i.e. is there any supporting evidence?0

Halifax is my bank, and I know it's a long shot as I have no way to prove it just heart breaking to lose that kind of money0
