ESA, do I tell them

Hi all, I have been claiming ESA since October 2020 in the work group. I have an interview for a suitable part time job, 15 hours a week and minimum wage.
My question is do I have to tell the new employer I claim ESA, which could affect my chances of getting the position?
I realise ESA only lasts for 365 days too.
Thanks in advance.

Your under no obligation to tell any prospective employer you are on benefits.

It's nothing to do with the employer but you need to tell DWP if you are successful with the job. You can do permitted work providing it's less than 16 hours per week and earn no more than £140 per week. (£143 from April 2021) without it affecting your ESA but if you earn more than that per week then your ESA will end. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/employment-and-support-allowance-permitted-work-form/permitted-work-factsheet
