If you read through these, they should be of help to you. An IFA will shout about I would think, the others would prefer to avoid the question

Most IFAs are localised firms (in the way solicitors and accountants used to be). They have the same qualifications as FAs. The main difference is that an IFA is not tied to any provider, investment house etc. They are whole of market. An IFA can recommend BM for example if they wanted to. However, they could recommend from the dozens of others or work on an advisory basis (where investment decisions are in-house).Kofi said:Our advice is from a HL financial advisor. How do I find anIFA who I can trust!? And what qualifications should they have?
Thanks
I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0
