Made redundant over 16k savings and single parent to child under 16

Hi i was made redundant in Dec and paid three months notice pay.
I have an rental gross income around 1000 a month (and a mortgage deduction off approx 600) I complete an annual self asessment for this income. 
I am on the system for child tax credits.  I have not received tax credits for several years. 
I have a child under 16 andover 16k savings. I am a single parent 
What if anything can I claim please? 
Can I claim school meals?

Report the change to HMRC and you can get your Tax Credits award reviewed  - although this may not result in anything(depending on your circumstances).

Claim new style JSA if you have complete NI record for 2018-19 and 2019-20. Will pay £74.35/week for 26 weeks.

Eligibility for FSM here https://www.gov.uk/apply-free-school-meals. If you get the Tax Credits revised and an award of CTC eligibility for FSM will depend on the annual income Tax Credits use for the calculation of entitlement.
