    And also to be clear they will charge £45 on a small adult account "if you don't have a regular investment plan" (edit: unless it's an exchange traded asset in an unwrapped account...)

    Yes, good point, I’d forgotten about the 0.2% rate as it’s less relevant if you pay at the max £45!

    I figured it might be useful for child accounts but they are giving them away for free now anyway.
    Even better you can use discounted funds in child accounts eg Fidelity Index World reduced from 0.12% to 0.10%.
