Look After My Bills

I was switched by Look After my Bills to simplicity energy in March 2020. My electricity meter failed. Simplicity did not fix my electricity meter until December 2020. They replaced my meter with a meter I cannot read. Simplicity Energy went into Administration and my supply was switched to British Gas. My account was £1200 in credit at that time. Look After My Bills has now switched my Energy Supply to Peoples Power. I still have no idea where my £1200 CREDIT has gone.
Look after my Bills have failed to respond to any of my emails.

You'll need to contact British Gas to set up your account, they're required to cover credit balances for Simplicity energy customers due to SOLR (supplier of last resort) process.

£1200 is an amazing amount if LAMB has already got you on the lowest supplier/tariff. Have you a copy of the bill showing this credit - blank out personal info, account number, MPAN. Bills from BG as well ?
As you've found out you are not in control when someone does the switching.Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0 -
Unfortunately LAMB dont actually look after your bills they just switch you to a different deal.
As Robin says, you lose control of who you are with and it's still down to you to sort the bills out. They dont do anything you cant do yourself.Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers0 -

You also lose total control of your account and what provider you are given.
LAMB is basically a site for the lazy and gullible who do not want to do anything for themselves. Sorry.
You have a meter you can not read, then google for instructions, it must have a name model number.
Have you actually read checked any meters against bills? Looked at your online accounts?

Any credit balance you had with Simplicity is protected and British Gas Evolve should honour it. You should get a final bill from Simplicity stating your closing balance. You will need to get in touch with British Gas Evolve anyway to sort out your account with them for the short time you were with them (from Simplicity failing to LAMB moving you to People's Energy).

LAMB will not be interested in helping you with any of this so no use in contacting them. Although personally I would get rid of them, as someone else says they aren't doing anything you couldn't do yourself!0 -
