Declaring student funds as income

Student bank account / credit cards are not a new thing, I got a card at 18 with my bank while I was at university, £350 limit nothing major. The banks were all at freshers' week at uni, very common to give a credit card with small limit to students, tied to a bank account.jay1804 said:
Until you get an income, you won't be able to get a credit card. Try and get a part time job earning more that £3000 annually/ £250 monthly, then you may be eligible for a Aqua, Barclaycard, Capital or Vanquis. And definitely, don't use an overdraft, it looks like you have no money.Smallest_Giants said:Hello. I'm a student with a bursary and loan, and I'm thinking about getting a credit card to build credit. When checking eligibility and eventually applying for one, can I declare the student loan and bursary as income? Thanks.1 -
My longest serving credit card (Barclaycard for 27 years) I first got when I was a student.0
