Tablet .. Netflix ?

I miss listening to the telly when cooking since moving to my new house.
I don't have a TV or ariel point ..
Is the cheapest amazon tablet (£49 Currys) good enough to watch Netflix or eg. BBC iplayer ??

Perfect for apps and photo's video may struggle depending on the compression.

The 8" says video but i would go for the 10" instead a much better experience.

It will work but I would not recomend the 7inch as it has a horrible screen. (it's not even 720)

The 8 inch is better and what I use. Amazon tablets regularly go on sale and I got it for £45. No idea when that will next be though!

If you wanted to view via a tv you can simply plug in a Roku stick (or similar) and stream via your WiFi. We do this for a tv in our kitchen as there is no aerial point there and it works perfectly.

Netflix is supported as are the main 5 channels and YouTube amongst many others.

yep this is the easiest way if you already have a portable tv with an HDMI input in the back of it. i use a firestick for this same purpose and works great.
