£500 tax credit top up

Good morning, I have read that if on tax credits, there will be a top up of £500 at the end of April. Will this affect my overall benefits as I work 16 hours a week and am a single parent. I’m convinced that they will say I’m not entitled to other benefits with this payment for that month. Many thanks.
