Depop

Hello, I’m trying to contact Depop about a parcel I sent which hasn’t been delivered by the courier but there doesn’t appear to be a contact number to use. Does anybody know how to contact these people (hopefully a human being) as I’m just going around in circles. It’s not clear who is responsible, the courier or depop who supplied the postal address to the courier. Thanks.

Is depop not just a peer to peer organisation ??You sent a parcel who did you pay . they are the ones you chase .0

You sell through depop. You use their chosen courier Hermes. Depop send the address of the buyer to Hermes who in turn generate and send you the address label. You track the parcel using tracking number which states they are trying to deliver. This goes on for weeks. You cannot get through to them on the phone. At no time do you have the buyers details until address label is sent to you. You try to speak to depop but you cannot contact either of them. Now assuming parcel is lost so I need to go down the insurance/compensation route but cannot contact either of them.

If you paid Depop you chase them .If you paid Hermes then chase them .Insurance who did you have it insured with ??0

Insured through Hermes. All telephone numbers are automated with both companies. Hermes say it’s out for delivery then they cut you off. Depop lists various ‘seller’ options in their ‘How can we help you section’ one of which ‘the buyer says they haven’t received their item’. Follow this and it takes you to Royal Mail - no option for courier claims.0
