    Yes as long as you explain it there shouldn’t be a problem, They queried it and my response seemed adequate, didn’t hear any more!

    Well Aldermore have requested a lot of additional info from us, bank statements for Feb to March, a lot of confirmation regarding my maternity leave/pay/return to work which I was expecting, and some clarification on my partners wage slips. Is it too much to hope its a good sign that we haven't been declined after the initial assessment?

    The still state they conduct the initial underwrite within the first 5 days, I assume that during this time they take into account your past credit issues.

    I would say that it's a good sign if you ask me they are requesting more information. You would think if there was significant credit issues they wouldn't request it and reject you!

    Ah I really hope so! Now I'm worrying that they won't think we have enough to cover my maternity leave though!! And my broker said nothing about the valuation 😳
