I've done my best to wrap my head around permitted development but still struggling a bit.
Is any of this allowed?

I don't see why Green box wouldn't be allowed (potentially subject to party wall agreement) but no-one on the street has done it. Yellow may not be allowed since width is larger than 50% of house, but everyone on street has done it, so probably planning permission?
I don't see blue ever being allowed.
Is it possible extending from Garage 6m to partially do blue?
I'd love to hear suggestions on what would be allowed to extend here to make the most of the space.
Thanks!

If the garage is original, you can go back 3 metres from the garage under normal PD, 6 metres on the large extension scheme, which you need to notify the council of anyway. The green area is the same.To the side you can go 50% of that part of the house, so you won't be able to fill the whole yellow area under PD without giving notification.Get the thing designed and apply for planning permission. It's not a big deal or expensive in the grand scheme.Don't forget about budgets. People always seem to design these giant wraparound things without really considering how they're actually going to fill the spaces and therefore how much it costs compared to how genuinely useful the space is.The side is the obvious place to build, as per your neighbours. At that point, it's cheaper to keep going on that side.Clearly no one has been desperate for three extra rooms downstairs yet...Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

how is green box impacted by the 45 degree rule?0

Why do you need a party wall agreement? It looks like the green box just follows your boundary into back garden or am I getting confused with the pic?🤔0

Nothing is 'subject' to a party wall agreement . If you have the planning for the build, you are entitled to the party wall agreement IF it is needed.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

I know you don't have a crystal ball, but any other reason neighbours haven't done the green box?
45 degree shouldn't be an issue as it wouldn't cross the middle of their window (extended from garage).
Is there a reason I can't do yellow extension from garage?
If you do a rear extension is there a rule that it must be less than 50% of the width? I though that was only for side extensions.

Not everyone needs to, or wants to extend their property. I certainly don't.I have the space and money to do it, but it'd just be extra living space for no real reason.0
